Welcome!

Welcome to the Alton Handbell Ringers website. We are a team comprising 17 Handbell Ringers, based in the village of Alton with members coming from surrounding villages and towns.

We ring on 54 (4½ octaves) handbells and 5 octaves of handchimes. We also ring as an ensemble of 6 ringers playing on 12 handbells for smaller venues. We are a lively, enthusiastic team who enjoy making music together and sharing our love of handbell ringing with our audiences.

We are regular performers for local groups, organisations and charities throughout the year and hold a Christmas concert every year in Alton Village Hall and we have raised thousands of pounds for local charities over the years.

Please have a look at our website to find out more about us and we would be happy to hear from you if you are planning an event that you would like us to be part of.
